Dutch Bros Coffee opened its first official drive-thru location in Jacksonville, Florida, on Friday, November 22, 2024. This new Dutch Bros drive-thru shop is located at 5733 Roosevelt Blvd, near Naval Air Station Jacksonville.
This location features both a drive-thru and a walk-up window. It’s the second of several planned drive-thru-only locations in Northeast Florida, with a Westside location set to open on January 10, 2025.
Lauren Arant, who has been with Dutch Bros for 9 years and is originally from Portland, Oregon, aims to create a welcoming environment where customers come back not just for their drinks, but for the people as well.
“I want people to know that yes, we have a lot of crazy drinks. However, I want everyone to come back for our people. We are a drive-thru coffee shop but I promise that when people come through they will see that we’re different,” said Arant,
“It’s just a different energy. I’m really big on music and having fun while you work,” she said, noting Dutch Bros emphasizes people ― customers and staff. “I would encourage people to come through and see what we’re all about because we’re not your typical drive-thru.”
Dutch Bros is known for its friendly atmosphere because the company focuses on building relationships between customers and staff. The Dutch Bros menu includes a variety of iced and hot coffee, smoothies, teas, freezes, lemonade, and exclusive Rebel energy drinks. They also offer Nitro Cold Brew.
The grand opening included giveaways and local entertainment. Dutch Bros is committed to sustainability and uses eco-friendly materials to support environmental initiatives. Additionally, they have a rewards program for customers.
The company plans to open more locations in Jacksonville and Florida, with further expansion into other areas. Dutch Bros is actively engaging with customers on social media, sharing updates, promotions, and community stories.
